I always enjoyed reading blogs. Maybe I'm dating myself but blogs were so IN before instagram and ticktock and when you found a blogger that poured heart and soul in their writing and you just clicked, it's like you were best friends through some twisted internet way. I don't think people read them as much anymore, let alone on a photography site, but you know what? I'm here for it. I'm here for it because as much as this is a photography site, this is also such an intimate journey in families and moments that go way beyond just photos.
Soooooo in honor of my FINALLY launching this site after 12 years, here's my first blog post which is truly a dedication to one of my first ever clients from 12 years ago. Ana contacted me on a whim one day to take photos of her soon to be 1 year old (I still dont know how she got my number haha). That handsome young man in these photos is that 1 year old!!! My mind is blown every.single.time I think of that! And not to sound cheesy or anything, but how truly honored I am to take photos for families throughout several years and be able to bless them with these forever memories.
PS- I LOVE that Ana always brings extended family for an annual family photoshoot...talk about GOALS.
